I first watched and more importantly heard Casey sing alongside Sam Tsui doing a mash-up of Let Her Go and Let It Go a few years ago and I've been hooked on these guys ever since, the talent and vocal harmony is beyond wonderful. The myriad covers and now many original songs I've enjoyed by the whole crew of talented performers surrounding Casey, Sam and Kurt have been a joy and I hope will continue to be so for many years to come.
Brilliant is an understatement if you have not watched Casey or his friends on youtube or seen them live you are missing one of life's great pleasures.
A friend of mine in L.A. told me I had to catch a video of an amazing mash-up performed by Sam and Casey a few years ago, and in an instant, I was hooked on the amazing talent, voices and musical creativity of these guys. Since then I've joined millions of fans and followers of the group of never-ending talent that surrounds Sam and KHS and my life has been the better for their wonderful music and videos.
As a performer, about a hundred years ago, I just wish I had one percent of the vocal talent and musical creativity or any of the myriad singers, musicians, dancers and performing artists that Sam and his friends introduce through their music videos.
As a member of the human race, this is the kind of wonder our species can achieve that allows me to forget the horrors we are constantly creating around the world, providing the light that promises we are not wasting our time hoping for a better future for all mankind. Maybe big words, some might say, but this level of creativity and constant effort to entertain millions of people around the world gives me hope that we are not as lost as we may feel sometimes, and I believe that is one of the unique abilities rare talent like Sam and Kurt bring to us all.
I've thanked my friend in Los Angeles so many times for introducing me to Sam and the many talented individuals and groups I've enjoyed when watching their videos.
